Welcome
I am an Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics & Business at Colorado School of Mines, an affiliated researcher with the U.S. Census Rocky Mountain Research Data Center, and a Faculty Fellow at the Payne Institute for Public Policy. I am an applied microeconomist focusing on energy and the environment. I have a Ph.D. in Economics from UC San Diego, and a BA in Economics and English from Whitman College.
Currently, I am developing a variety of projects to help inform policy on methane emissions and flaring, estimate regional impacts of wind energy development, and improve residential energy use decisions.
